As spring is fast arriving, Levi and I will soon begin our spring cleaning. I am trying not to get too excited as I type this, mind you. And while this takes only one day, this year, he and I are doing some sprucing up on the inside too. God has really impressed upon us lately the importance of self-image in the way Christians talk, act, react, think and live. As we are striving for perfection in Christ, we are taking a step back to look at how we approach things that come up in our day-to-day lives. Are we looking at all of the blessings we are given every day or are we noticing what we still don't have? Are we taking time daily to thank God for providing a happy life/lifestyle for us or are we taking Him for granted?
We would like to create a healthier lifestyle for ourselves, our minds and for each other. We are to love each other in the manner that God loves His church. Not with a secular, worldly view of what a marriage is, but in an unconditional team, yolked together by, with and through God. How lucky are we all to have the things we have and the people we have them with?!
"I pray that you ... may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long
and high and deep is the love of Christ"
and high and deep is the love of Christ"
-Ephesians 3:17-19
